Weekend November 20/21: Joel Salatin Workshop - "Making the family farm hum" ( Havelock North)
The workshop will cover his entire family farm operation; principles of profitable farming, on-farm nutrient cycling, whole farm planning, simple irrigation methods, multi-generational family farms, and the relationship marketing approach his family has mastered that makes Polyface Farm the internationally recognised and very successful farm it is today.

Sunday November 21: Monthly Pit Park Working Party
The Pit Park is at the Vogel Street end of Featherston Street (PN), with entry just before Tweed Street . Working parties are regularly held every third Sunday afternoon of the month - starting at 1.30pm and finishing around 3pm with a cup of tea. All welcome!
